A set of isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Initial core set of 209 isogenic deletions provides ~60% euchromatic genome coverage.

Motor axons of intersegmental nerve b (ISNb) in Df(2L)ED243/Df(2L)ED243 mutant embryos often display targeting defects (such as muscle target recognition errors or abnormal associations with other motor axons). Df(2L)ED243/Df(2L)ED243 embryos also show CNS axonal defects associated with the midline crossing.
Potential deficiency; could be generated as the recombinant product between the reduced derivatives of P{RS3}CB-0383-3 and P{RS5}5-HA-2002.
