Heterozygous males show a small increase in the level of monoene cuticular hydrocarbons compared to wild-type males. Heterozygous females show a significant increase in the level of 7,11-diene cuticular hydrocarbons and a significant decrease in the level of monoene cuticular hydrocarbons compared to wild-type females.
