wgl-17/wgSp-1 flies are viable and exhibit loss of anterior dorsocentrals, loss of microbristles located in the wg-expression domain of the notum and loss of distal antennal segments. Individuals in combination with wgSp-revP are pupal lethal, in combination with wgl-17 are embryonic lethal and in combination with wgP die before pupariation. Individuals are adult viable and exhibit the wing phenotype when in combination with wg1. When in combination with wgl-16 individuals are lethal, escapers lack antennae and the first pair of legs.
