Overexpression of aosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in variable loss of dorsal longitudinal wing veins including L3.

Expression of aosScer\UAS.cMa using Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in an abnormally small wing with missing veins.

Flies expressing argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 lack crossveins and have a gap in vein L3.

Expression of argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in wing vein loss and a small wing phenotype.

Expression of argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL41151 does not affect founder cell formation of patterning.

Expression of argosScer\UAS.cMa in border cells, driven by Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 does not affect the formation of the egg chamber apical cap or the migration of the border cell cluster to the oocyte.

Expression of two copies of argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in wings which lack vein L4 and both crossveins. Expression of one copy of argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in a milder wing vein loss phenotype.

When argosScer\UAS.cMa is driven by Scer\GAL4hs.PB and heatshocked between 14 and 15 hours after puparium formation, a severe reduction is seen in numbers of antennal glia.

argosScer\UAS.cMa with Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237, Scer\GAL4426 or Scer\GAL4Gug-AGiR does not affect wing disc development. argosScer\UAS.cMa with Scer\GAL4ap-md544 or Scer\GAL4tsh-md621 causes severe reduction in notum tissue in the 3rd instar wing disc; however, no transformation of notum to wing fate is observed in these discs. argosScer\UAS.cMa; Scer\GAL4Ubx-lac1-Gal4adults exhibit wing duplication in the posterior compartment and partial loss of notum and/or hinge. Occasionally pharate adults die within the pupal case, with severe loss of notum tissue. In larvae of this genotype, the wing discs show altered morphology, particularly overgrowth in the posterior hinge and mesonotum. Marker analysis indicates formation a new wing pouch complete with the DV boundary, and that pattern duplication is associated with loss of notum, confirming notum/hinge-to-wing transformations.

Flies expressing argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Dll-md23 lack the pretarsus (including the claw). Tarsal segment 5 is reduced.

Shows a rough eye phenotype when crossed to an (unspecified) eye disk Scer\GAL4 driver.

Overexpression of aosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 in homozygous pk30 mutants induces partial loss of longitudinal wing veins. The discontinuity in hair and ridge orientation maps to the site of the L3 vein.

Heterozygosity for ebi2g2, ebiE90, ebiCC3, ebi2g1, ebiCCS-8, ebiE4, ebiΔ1 or ebiW418X enhances the small wing and wing vein loss phenotypes induced by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-mediated expression of aosScer\UAS.cMa.

Expression of argosScer\UAS.cMa completely suppresses the haltere-to-wing transformation of Ubxlac1-GAL4/+ flies.

Co-expression of Socs44AScer\UAS.cRa partially suppresses the loss of wing vein phenotype that is seen in flies expressing two copies of argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E; the posterior crossvein and the most proximal and distal parts of wing vein L4 are restored.

Co-expression of one copy of Socs44AScer\UAS.cRa and one copy of argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in an almost wild-type wing.

The severity of the wing vein loss phenotype caused by expression of argosScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E is enhanced by Df(2R)CA53/+, but is not affected by Df(2R)Drlrv18/+.
