Overexpression of dgoScer\UAS.cFa using Scer\GAL4hs.2sev induces ommatidial chirality and rotational defects in the eye and wing hair orientation defects between wing veins L1 and L4.

No wing margin bristle loss is seen when dgoScer\UAS.cFa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E.

Expression of dgoScer\UAS.cFa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev results in planar cell polarity defects in the eye, including rotation and chirality defects in the ommatidial clusters.

Expression of dgoScer\UAS.cFa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 in a stripe along the proximo-distal axis of the wing results in a reorientation of wing hairs, which now point laterally away from the expression domain.

Wing hairs adjacent to the ptc expression domain in dgoScer\UAS.cFa; Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 flies are mis-oriented to point away from the expression domain.
