Description

A double mutant allele derived from Sxlf18. A G-to-T transversion at +13,355 (relative to the Sxl[[Pm]] transcription start site) results in Gly-Val amino acid substitution three residues C-terminal to the second RNA-binding domain, a region common to all Sxl-F isoforms.

Comment:

This is the site of the Sxlf32 transversion that substitutes a Val for a Gly three residues down from the conserved second RNA-binding domain. Sxlf18 is suppressed in cis by Sxlf32.
