Description

The mCherry coding sequence (including a stop codon at the C-terminal end) has been introduced into the Balat locus, replacing an N-terminal portion of the Balat coding sequence. This results in mCherry being expressed under the control of native Balat regulatory sequences. A single loxP site is present upstream of the mCherry sequence.
