At 25[o]C temperature, Lint-11 homozygotes are viable and fertile, but egg chambers infrequently show misplaced or supernumerary oocytes. At 29[o]C, females are sterile, as eggs fail to hatch and a significant proportion of ovarioles develop aberrantly and contain egg chambers with extra number of germ cells or oocytes.
