        Thermogenetic activation (using TrpA1UAS.(B).cKa at 30[o]C) of Scer\GAL40954-G4 cells in adults significantly increases sucrose consumption, compared to controls; sucrose consumption is also significantly higher than controls when activation is restricted to a smaller set of cells using Scer\GAL80tsh-GAL80, but not Scer\GAL80149.PG; proboscis extension in response to sucrose is significantly increased, compared to controls.
