| Definition |
Neurohemal organ found medially in the anterodorsal part of the larval ring gland, surrounded by cells of the prothoracic gland (Dai and Gilbert, 1991; de Velasco et al., 2004). It is composed of smaller cells than the prothoracic gland (Dai and Gilbert, 1991).
