General Information
Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Or47b ID (Ontology) FBbt:00067056 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or47b (FBgn0026385). It also expresses fruitless (Yu et al., 2010). It innervates the antennal lobe glomerulus VA1v bilaterally, fasciculating with the antennal lobe commissure (Kaur et al., 2019). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal trichoid sensillum at4 (Couto et al., 2005; Grabe et al., 2016). It responds to a pheromone secreted by males and females (van der Goes et al., 2007). It expresses sNPF (Carlsson et al., 2010).
