Term | larval A1-7-innervating RP2 motor neuron | ID (Ontology) | FBbt:00002207 (Fly Anatomy) |
Definition | Motor neuron that innervates the internal dorsal acute, dorsal oblique and LL1 muscles of larval abdominal segments A1 to A7 (Landgraf et al., 2003) via excitatory type Is boutons (Mauss et al., 2009). It exits the ventral nerve cord via the posterior root of the intersegmental nerve (ISN). Unlike other ISN neurons, its soma is located in the same segment as the muscles it innervates (Zarin and Labrador, 2019).[ FlyBase:FBrf0064795 FlyBase:FBrf0160715 FlyBase:FBrf0208790 FlyBase:FBrf0229965 FlyBase:FBrf0231328 FlyBase:FBrf0245882 ] | ||
