Definition A leading edge cell that moves from the anterior compartment of one segment to the posterior compartment of the segment immediately anterior to it during dorsal closure. There is one of these per abdominal segment, initially located in the dorso-anterior corner of each anterior compartment at the dorsal-end of the groove that marks the segment boundary.[ FlyBase:FBrf0211014 ]
