General Information
Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Ir41a ID (Ontology) FBbt:00110015 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron that expresses the Ionotropic receptor (Ir) 41a (FBgn0040849) and the co-receptors 25a (FBgn0031634) and 76b (FBgn0036937). It innervates antennal lobe glomerulus VC5 (Schlegel et al., 2021) bilaterally (Kaur et al., 2019). Its dendrite transduces signals from the antennal coeloconic sensillum ac2 (Benton et al., 2009).
