Definition |
Distal medullary wide-field amacrine neuron with arbors that span multiple columns in layers M1 and M6A and columnar processes between these two layers. The processes in M2 and M5 occupy a central column position and are closely associated with R7 and R8 photoreceptor axons, covering around 7 columns. There are around 110 Dm9 neurons per hemisphere.
