Definition |
Distal medullary wide-field amacrine neuron whose cell body is located in anterior region of the cell body rind of the medulla. Its primary neurite extends deeper into the medulla layer, and then turns back to form to branches in M4. The arbors overlap, forming a grid-like arrangement and covering around 50-100 columns. The arbor is located in a peripheral intracolumnar position. There are around 15-20 Dm13 neurons per hemisphere.[ FlyBase:FBrf0228639 ] |
