Description
Description
The small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein (snoRNPs) complexes catalyze the site-specific pseudouridylation and most of the methylation of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) important for rRNA folding and ribosome function. The snoRNP complexes utilize different guide RNAs to identify target residues for modification. (Adapted from PMID:22065625).
