S2 cells were incubated with conditioned medium containing GFP-tagged CG4164 and processed for immunocytochemistry without permeabilization.

When S2 cells are incubated in CG4164-conditioned medium, CG4164 and mys colocalize at the cell surface and Fak becomes phosphorylated (which suggests integrin signaling).

Interaction in vitro; bait was present on live S2 cells; prey was produced from conditioned medium of transfected S2 cell line.
