      This line was made by cotransformation with a hygromycin-resistance plasmid and a plasmid in which a GFP coding sequence is expressed from a metallothionein promoter. When the cells are treated with Cu++, GFP is expressed at a high level. The GFP is not part of a fusion protein and contains no exogenous targeting sequences, but it does show some nuclear localization.
