ScerGAL4kirre-rP298-G4 drives expression in progenitors and founders of all muscle fibers during early development of the mesoderm.

Drives expression in muscle founder cells and muscle cells in embryos and during pupal development.

ScerGAL4kirre-rP298-G4 drives expression in pupal muscle founder cells, but not in fusion competent cells.

In the adult optic lobe, ScerGAL4kirre-rP298-G4 drives expression in in three layers of the distal medulla; this includes the M3 layer, which is innervated by R8 axons. This pattern is also observed at 55 hr APF.
