EcollexAVP16.Gr64b drives expression in the S cells of 3 (of 4) prothoracic leg tarsal taste bristles in tarsal segment 5, 1-2 of the gustatory receptor neurons associated with the taste pegs and 4 gustatory receptor neurons of the adult labral sense organ. All of the labellar neurons and many of the tarsal S cells send projections to the adult subesophageal zone. EcollexAVP16.Gr64b driven expression in neurons in the brain and antennae overlaps with that of the olfactory neuron marker, ScerGAL4Orco.PU.
