Drives expression in the developing tracheal system.
ScerGAL4btl.PS drives expression in the tracheal placodes, but not in the dorsal ectoderm, at embryonic stage 12, then continues to drive expression in the developing tracheal system. ScerGAL4btl.PS does not drive expression in the posterior spiracles.
Using a UAS-GFP target construct, expression in central embryo is masked by yolk autofluorescence. Observed in living embryos.
