A fragment from the drm genomic region of ~1kb, upstream of a basal promoter and sequence encoding a lacZ reporter. It contains two potential ftz-f1 protein binding sites, located about 800bp apart in the first intron of drm, the first of which (drm3) is flanked by six potential ftz protein binding sites, and the second of which (drm4) is flanked by seven potential ftz protein binding sites. It does not contain any 7mer sequences.
