In the third instar larva, ScerGAL4for.pr2 is expressed in midline glial cells in the ventral nerve cord, in adult midgut progenitor cells throughout the midgut, in the salivary gland imaginal ring, and in the ureter of the Malpighian tubule. Expression is not observed in neurons or in fat bodies.
