Description

Genomic fragment that encompasses Lkb1; extends from 2.8 kb upstream of the translation start site to 1kb downstream of the stop codon. The C-terminal lipid-binding (LB) motif has been mutated (amino acid substitutions K546A, R547A, R548A, K550A, K551A, K539A, K540A, K541A); this abolishes the ability of the protein to bind liposomes in vitro. In addition, a GFP tag has been inserted at the N-terminal end of the coding sequence.
