[85B1-85B1];[85C2-85C2];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
85B1;85C2
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
Df(3R)BSC506/Df(3R)BSC478 transheterozygotes and Df(3R)Exel6150/Df(3R)BSC506 transheterozygotes are lethal.
Inferred to overlap with: Df(3R)Exel6150.
Df(3R)BSC506 homozygotes are lethal.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.WH5}BSC506 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003.
The cytological breakpoints of Df(3R)BSC506 predicted from the Release 5 genomic coordinates of the progenitor PBac{WH}f04610 and P{XP}d11612 insertion sites are 85B1;85C2.
