Comments

Scer\FRT-mediated recombination between the two progenitor insertions has resulted in the deletion of the genomic sequence between them.

Homozygous mutants for Df(3R)del6 die in early embryogenesis.

Df(3R)del6/+ mutant dendritic arborizing neurons contain fewer stationary golgi outposts than in controls. Most of the dynamic outposts that are seen move preferentially in the retrograde direction (towards cell bodies), and displacement is greater in the retrograde direction than the anterograde. Velocity of movement is the same in both directions.
