Detailed Description

The wings of rhd1 mutants are nearly wild-type in appearance. Characteristically, the posterior wing margin exhibits a disorderly array of bristles.

Wings truncated. Female sterile.

Homozygotes display a slightly truncated wing.

Moderate r wing phenotype.

Moderate rudimentary wing phenotype. Rank 2-3 phenotype according to system of Green, (FBrf0015303).

CG15352KG01830 does not exhibit a noticeable effect on the rhd1 phenotype.

The mutants e(r)18-2, e(r)47-1, e(r)48-2, e(r)51-16 and e(r)53-4 do not enhance the rhd1 mutant wing phenotype.

e(r)14-1 mutants display a very slight enhancement of the rhd1 phenotype. The wings are slightly more truncated than those of rhd1 mutants.

The presence of a e(r)27-1 mutant background noticeably enhances the rhd1 wing phenotype.

The presence of a e(r)27-8 mutant background noticeably enhances the rhd1 wing phenotype.

The presence of a e(r)35-5 mutant background noticeably enhances the rhd1 wing phenotype.

The presence of a e(r)37-6 mutant background noticeably enhances the rhd1 wing phenotype.

The presence of a e(r)39-2 mutant background noticeably enhances the rhd1 wing phenotype.

The presence of a e(r)41-2 mutant background noticeably enhances the rhd1 wing phenotype.

Wing truncation phenotype, but not sterility, is suppressed by mod(r)p1.

Wing truncation seen in homozygotes is more severe in the presence of e(r)p1.
