      The phenotype of Su(spl)KE7/Df(2R)vg-D overlaps wild type.

      Double heterozygous sca-/Df(2R)vg-D individuals exhibit roughening and slight enlargement of adult compound eye and increase in sensory bristles on head and thorax. Mechanobristles pn compound eye are reduced in number.

      Bristles develop in the normal spatial positions but are often duplicated.
