Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

In pdm2hs.P embryos heat shocked (90 minutes; 37oC) at 6.45 hours (raised at 22oC), the prescence of 1-2 ectopic RP2 neurons in many hemisegments at stage 14 of embryogenesis is indicated by marker expression and morphological analysis. At stage 12 an 63% of hemisegments in these embryos have an extra 3-5 cells clustered with the developing RP2 neuron and its sib.

The RP2 neurons are duplicated in 2 to 6 hemisegments in approximately 71% of embryos heat shocked at 7 hours of development.
