Heterozygotes exhibit normal 3 minute memory performance. Transheterozygotes with 14-3-3ζX1 or 14-3-3ζ2.3 show a highly significant reduction in 3 minute memory. Odour avoidance (octanol and benzaldehyde) is normal.
