Flies carrying one or two copies of pbRev14.HSPB are wild type. Flies carrying pbRev14.HSPB are more active and agile than flies carrying the progenitor allele pbhs.PB.

Eliminates the antenna to maxillary palps transformation and the dose sensitive eye phenotype (re-establishment of normal hexagonal ommatidial form) of pbhs.PB.
