      ScerGAL4c527 drives expression in larval optic stalk surface glial cells until pupal stage P4. In the adult labeling is seen in subperineurial glial cells surrounding the lamina, medulla and lateral retina.

      In third instar larva, expression along midline of ventral ganglion, possible expression in the lamina anlagen, expression in the eye discs posterior to the morphogenetic furrow, speckled pattern of expression in thoracic discs.
