Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Homozygous adults have normal bristles. Female fertile in transheterozygous combination with chic8A. Onion-stage spermatids usually contain a single Nebenkern of larger than normal size, associated with two or more normal-sized nuclei (57.4% of spermatids have 4 nuclei). Approximately 3% of primary spermatocytes are polyploid. The central spindle is severely defective in the first meiotic division in homozygous males, and the actin-based contractile ring is missing. 60% of asters show irregular positioning and delayed migration during meiotic divisions in homozygous males.
