Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Homozygous stage 17 embryos show a "broken hearted" phenotype; the pericardial cells are dissociated from cardioblasts in the dorsal vessel.

In embryos homozygous for qmL14.4, a small number of germ cells (4 on average) fail to migrate into the mesoderm. Females in which the germ-line is homozygous for Hmgcrclb1 are sterile.

Homozygotes and hemizygotes with Df(3L)HnDEB die as larvae 5 days after hatching. Their mouthparts remain as those of first instar larvae and they have a much reduced body size compared to wild-type larvae of the same age.
