Mutant animals exhibit an increased sensitivity to cocaine.

Flies expressing Bx^EP1394 under the control of Scer\GAL4^bi-omb-Gal4 lack most of the normal wing margin and have irregular pieces of ectopic margin associated with overgrowths in the dorsal surface of the wing. Flies expressing Bx^EP1394 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 show extensive overgrowth of the dorsal surface of the wing with an ectopic wing margin along the edge of the overgrowth.

Flies expressing Bx^EP1394 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 show ectopic wing formation on the wing or notum. Flies expressing Bx^EP1394 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Ser.PGF show disruption of the wing margin resulting in scalloping of the wing.
