Mutant animals have a mean longevity of about 32.9 days at 30^oC.

When POSH^GS2207 is driven by Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1, a number of developmental phenotypes are seen. Wing hairs are disoriented, tarsal segments fused, rotated genitalia and abnormal bristles are also seen.

Flies expressing P{GS}POSH^GS2207 under the control of Scer\GAL4^hs.2sev have rough eyes. Flies expressing P{GS}POSH^GS2207 under the control of Scer\GAL4^c355 have notched wings.
