    Inhibition of synaptic transmission in Scer\GAL4NP6099 neurons leads to aberrant phototaxis behavior (low phototaxis index) towards blue (but not green or UV) light; navigation towards shorter wavelength of light (but not detection of ambient light) is impaired by silencing these neural circuits.
