hhUAS.EGFP in which the hh sequence has been truncated and mutated to replace the cysteine residue of the GCF motif in the hh internal cleavage domain with a stop codon and the glycine residue of this motif with an alanine.

      Flies expressing hhN.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Ubx.PdC have an enlarged notum with extra macrochaetae. In the wing, the costa region is enlarged and there are extra veins.
