Description

Imprecise excision of P{SUPor-P}KG03781 has deleted sequence extending from the P{SUPor-P}KG03781 insertion site into the final exon of chn including all of the 3' UTR.

FlyBase curator comment: Figure 5 of FBrf0183881 indicates that the deletion in the chn19E allele extends upstream from the site of the progenitor insertion (P{SUPor-P}KG03781) through to a location within the chn locus. This means that the deletion must also remove the Polr2K gene, as this gene lies in the region between the end of the chn transcription unit and the location of the P{SUPor-P}KG03781 insertion.
