Flies expressing SurdsRNA.Scer\UAS.1-2 under the simultaneous control of both Scer\GAL4tin.cBa and Scer\GAL4Scer\UAS.cHa show reduced survival after challenge with flock house virus than control flies.

Flies expressing SurdsRNA.Scer\UAS.1-2 under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PB show reduced survival after challenge with flock house virus than control flies.

Expression of SurdsRNA.Scer\UAS.1-2 under the control of Scer\GAL4NP3084 has no effect on the resistance of flies to infection with flock house virus.

1-week old progeny expressing SurdsRNA.Scer\UAS.1-2 under the simultaneous control of Scer\GAL4tin.cBa and Scer\GAL4Scer\UAS.cHa exhibit an increased rate of pacing-induced heart failure compared with controls.
