Detailed Description

Reference

Late stage homozygous embryos show detachment of muscles from the body wall. This phenotype becomes apparent at stage 16 and is enhanced during subsequent development as the force of muscle contraction increases.

Homozygous embryos derived from females carrying homozygous germline clones show a more severe muscle detachment phenotype than zygotically mutant homozygous embryos, with the phenotype becoming apparent at stage 15.
