Larvae and pupae expressing Rabex-5VDRC.cUa driven by strong, constitutive drivers die as giant larvae or giant pupae, often containing melanotic tumors.

Expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa driven by Scer\GAL4Act.PU results in viable adults with about a 10% increase in length, weight and wing size compared with controls.

Expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa driven by Scer\GAL4Act.PU or Scer\GAL4C-765 results in extra posterior crossveins and extra longitudinal veins compared to controls. Rabex-5ex42/+ enhances the wing phenotype resulting from Rabex-5VDRC.cUa expression driven by Scer\GAL4C-765.

Co-expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa in the early eye driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PU leads to a fraction of the eyes with severe phenotypes, including overgrown eyes, outgrowths, small or lost eyes, and extra antennae.

Ras85De1B and Ras85De2F dominantly suppress the extra wing veins caused by constitutive expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa via Scer\GAL4Act.PU.

Ras85De1B dominantly suppresses the extra wing veins caused by wing-specific expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa via Scer\GAL4C-765.

A Ras85De1B/+ genetic background results in fewer flies with severe eye phenotypes upon co-expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa and Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PU.

Ras85De1B dominantly suppresses the increased body size, body length and wing area resulting from the expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa driven by Scer\GAL4Act.PU. Body weight of all flies and wing area in female flies are no longer statistically different from controls.

Co-expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa significantly enhances the number of eyes with black tissue and significantly increases lethality resulting from the expression of Ras85DV12.S35.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU. The overgrowth, extra antennae, and ectopic eye phenotypes of Ras85DV12.S35.Scer\UAS overexpression are also enhanced by Rabex-5VDRC.cUa-expression.

Co-expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa significantly enhances the number of eyes with black tissue and significantly increases lethality resulting from the expression of EgfrU.A887T.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.

Co-expression of Rabex-5VDRC.cUa fails to enhance the eye phenotypes resulting from the overexpression of phlScer\UAS.F179 driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.
