eye, with Scer\GAL4ey.PU
Scer\GAL4ey.PU Cp190Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mRFP flies do not develop eye tissues, but other tissues (e.g. legs) are normal.
Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 Cp190Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mRFP flies have abnormal legs: distal parts, including tarsal and claw segments, are underdeveloped or missing. These flies have close to normal eyes with a slightly rough shape.
Most larval tissues in un-heat shocked Scer\GAL4hs.PB Cp190Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mRFP 3rd instar larvae are in their normal shapes, except that they do not have salivary glands of a detectable size. One dose of heat shock at 37[o]C for 20 mins during the 3rd larval instar stage results in failure to pupate and lethality.
