Lgr3^ag1/Lgr3^ag1 flies exhibit an increase in fluctuating asymmetry in adult wing area, and exhibit a significantly shorter time to pupariation in larvae synchronized at the second to third instar molt, as compared to controls.

Expression of Ilp8^{Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG} under the control of Scer\GAL4^arm.PS in a Lgr3^ag1/+ background results in delay to pupariation, as compared to controls, but this delay is partially suppressed in a Lgr3^ag1/Lgr3^ag1, Lgr3^ag1/Lgr3^ag8, Lgr3^ag1/Lgr3^ag9 or Lgr3^ag1/Df(3R)BSC321 background.

Lgr3^ag1/Lgr3^ag1 partially suppresses the delay in pupariation seen in larvae expressing rpr^Scer\UAS.C under the control of Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096.
