The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Carol Singh and Matt Mahoney of Vitruvean, Inc.
P{UAS-MAPT.VTR} consists of the 2n4r isoform of human MAPT (tau) under the control of UAS in the P{UAST} vector (FBmc0000383). This construct contains less human 5' and 3' UTR than P{UAS-MAPT.B}.
P{UAS-MAPT.VTR}54 is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome. This insertion gives stronger behavioral phenotypes than P{UAS-MAPT.VTR}31K.
P{UAS-MAPT.VTR}12D is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the second chromosome.
P{UAS-MAPT.VTR}31K is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome.  This insertion gives weaker behavioral phenotypes than P{UAS-MAPT.VTR}54.
P{UAS-MAPT.VTR}12B is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the second chromosome.
P{UAS-MAPT.B} was made by Juan Botas (Baylor College of Medicine) and consists of the 2n4r isoform of human MAPT (tau) under the control of UAS in the P{UAST} vector (FBmc0000383). This construct contains more human 5' and 3' UTR than P{UAS-MAPT.VTR}.
P{UAS-MAPT.B}31o is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome.
