The genomic rescue construct P{O-fut1+t3.8} is identical to P{O-fut1.R245A} (FBtp0072853) except it lacks the mutation resulting in the R245A amino acid change introduced by site-directed mutagenesis in FBrf0215952.
P{O-fut1+t3.8}57-1 is a homozygous viable and fertile, second chromosome insertion.
