Reporter gene expression is observed in third instar larvae in a few cell nuclei at the interhemispheric junction and in the optic lobe anlage. In young pupae, expression is observed in four nuclei on a sagital interhemispheric view of the brain.
Reporter gene expression is detected in the CNS, PNS and the midgut of stage 12 embryos.
