Reference

Expression is observed in a broad strip about 15-20 cell diameters, with a sharp peak at the anterior/posterior compartment boundary and declining anteriorly with distance from the posterior compartment.

Early third instar expression is observed at the lateral margins of the eye disc until the morphogenetic furrow has passed. Expression in the mid to late third instar eye disc is observed to be anterior to the morphogenetic furrow.

Expression is observed anterior to hh expression at the anterior/posterior boundary of the wing and leg discs.
