Description

Transgenic construct used to study mechanisms involved in long-range enhancer-promoter interactions. Contains a basal P\T promoter upstream of the lacZ reporter. A 360bp BamHI-BglII fragment containing gypsy insulator sequence, an FRT cassette that contains a 625bp minimal Abd-B promoter targeting sequence (PTS), and a 1.6kb IAB8 enhancer fragment have been inserted over 5kb downstream of the lacZ transcription unit.
